NEWS UPDATE ON VACATION YOUTH CAMP 2024

Scripture Union of Sierra Leone held its usual VACATION YOUTH CAMP for the first time at Baiima Mando near Daru in Kailahun District. The Sierra Leone Mission compound was the most suitable venue for the camp powered by Scripture Union Segbwema Area. The theme was “Run to win the Prize” from 1st Cor. 9:24 – 27 with the National Director being the theme speaker/ Bible Expositor.

Campers were drawn from Segbwema,  Daru, Pendembu, Panguma, Kenema, Kailahun and Baiima. Of a total of 109 who attended the camp, 53 received christ, 18 were given Bibles including Muslims youths and all received Daily Power (devotional for youths) for daily quiet time.

We are grateful to Mr & Mrs Emmanuel Senesie (Proprietors of the Sierra Leone Mission estate) for opening their doors to accommodate us. Thank God for the salvation and rededication of souls. May God bless all who supported the camp. As we look forward to the December edition, please pray for financial support for the camps.
